Ms. Silva has over 20 years of senior living sales, marketing,
and operational experience as well as five years in multi-family/
conventional and an additional four years in the Active Adult/55+
arena.

 

Prior to Insite Realty Advisors, Ms. Silva was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Waters Senior Living, a Minnesota based company. Heather was instrumental in developing internal and external sales and marketing systems, best practices, sales training programs, policies and procedures, outreach training programs, and quarterly/annual marketing plans. Ms. Silva was involved in budget planning and management as well as hiring, training, mentoring and leadership of corporate and community level team members. Heather supported and managed 11 senior living communities in development, operations, and sales and marketing. The new development projects exceeded preleasing goals and achieved 50-65% leased prior to opening.

 

Ms. Silva also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for
EDI (Essential Decisions Inc.) and VOA National Services, based
out of Minneapolis MN. Heather worked with VOA to develop an
internal sales and marketing infrastructure to support their 20 plus
senior living communities nationally. She was involved with hiring,
training, and mentoring key sales and operational leadership roles
to be outcome and occupancy focused to meet and exceed growth
targets. Heather implemented quarterly sales training programs and developed strong sales cultures throughout the portfolio.

 

Ms. Silva earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business
Administration from Dordt University as well as a Master in Business
Administration from Michigan State University. Heather currently
lives in the Midwest, is married with two grown boys, and enjoys
golfing, boating and spending time with family and friends.
